The iEP-5020G Series industrial IoT controller represents a cutting-edge solution for industrial automation and edge computing. This robust and versatile device is designed to deliver exceptional performance in demanding industrial environments.

Power and Performance

At the heart of the system is the powerful Intel® Atom® x7433RE processor, part of the Amston Lake platform, operating at 1.5GHz with 4 cores and a 9W TDP. Memory is managed through a DDR5 4800MHz SO-DIMM slot, supporting up to 16GB with In-Band ECC, ensuring reliability and high performance for the most demanding applications.

Advanced Connectivity

The iEP-5020G offers complete connectivity with 2 Intel® I210-IT ports and one Intel® I226-IT port, all with RJ45 connector. The PoE and 5LAN versions include additional Intel® I210-AT ports, with PoE support up to 15.4W per port according to IEEE 802.3AF standard. Video connectivity is provided by a DisplayPort 1.4a and a Type-C port.

Expandability and Storage

The system offers various expansion options, including a Micro SD slot (version 3.01), an M.2 2280 Key M socket (PCIe Gen3x2) for NVMe storage, and additional M.2 slots for Wi-Fi 6E, 4G LTE, or 5G modules. Security management is ensured by the integrated TPM 2.0.

Industrial Robustness

Designed to operate in extreme conditions, the iEP-5020G supports temperatures from -40°C to 70°C for Basic/5LAN/8DIO versions and from -40°C to 50°C for the PoE version. The system is protected against shock (100G), vibration (5 Grms), and offers advanced ESD protection (+/-8 KV contact, +/-15 KV air).

Operational Versatility

With support for Windows and Linux operating systems, the device integrates TSN and TCC functionality under Ubuntu, making it ideal for real-time applications. The flexible power supply accepts 6 to 36V DC input (19-36V DC for PoE version) with OVP, UVP, OCP protection and surge protection up to 80V.
