The iEP-7020E Series represents excellence in industrial IoT control, combining advanced processing power and robust construction. This fanless controller is designed for demanding industrial applications and next-generation edge computing.

Power and Processor

The heart of the system consists of Intel® 13th generation Core™ processors, available in different configurations: from the powerful i7-1365URE with 10 cores at 1.70GHz to the versatile i5-1345URE. Intel® Iris Xe Graphics technology ensures excellent graphics capabilities, supporting two DisplayPort++ 1.4a ports for professional multi-display configurations.

Memory and Storage

The system supports up to 64GB of DDR4 3200MHz memory on two SO-DIMM slots, with In-Band ECC support for maximum data reliability. Storage options include an M.2 2280 Key M slot with PCIe Gen4 x4 interface and, for the Basic version, a 2.5″ SATA3 SSD bay.

Advanced Connectivity

Network connectivity is provided by 3 Intel i226-IT LAN ports, one with vPro support, and up to 2 additional Intel i210-AT ports in PoE/5LAN versions. The PoE version supports IEEE 802.3AF with maximum power of 15.4W per port. The system also offers 4 RS232/422/485 serial ports, 3 USB 3.2 Gen2x1 ports, and one USB 2.0 port.

Industrial Robustness

Designed for harsh industrial environments, the iEP-7020E operates in a temperature range from -40°C to 70°C (15W version) and withstands vibrations of 5 Grms. The system is protected against overvoltage up to 80V and includes OVP, UVP, and OCP protections. CE and FCC Class A certification ensures compliance with industrial EMC standards.

IoT Functionality

Support for Intel® TCC and TSN ensures real-time computing capabilities, while compatibility with Wireless Time-Sensitive Networking (WTSN) optimizes critical wireless communications. The system integrates advanced security features with TPM 2.0 and Intel® In-Band Manageability support.
