The iEP-7040E represents an advanced industrial IoT control solution that combines exceptional performance with operational robustness. Based on the 15th generation Intel® Core™ Ultra processor (Arrow Lake-H), this controller is designed to handle the most demanding industrial IoT applications.

Power and Performance

The heart of the system is the Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 255H processor with 16 cores and a base frequency of 2.00GHz, or the Core™ Ultra 5 225H with 14 cores at 1.70GHz. Both variants operate with a 28W TDP, ensuring an optimal balance between performance and power consumption. The DDR5 5600MHz SO-DIMM memory, expandable up to 96GB, supports Intel® In-Band ECC technology to ensure data integrity.

Advanced Connectivity

The iEP-7040E offers exceptional network connectivity with 3 Intel® i226-IT LAN ports and 2 Intel® i210-AT LAN ports (in PoE versions). The PoE ports support IEEE 802.3af standard with maximum power of 15.4W per port. Connectivity is further enhanced by 3 RS232/422/485 serial ports, 3 USB 3.2 Gen2x1 ports, and 1 USB 2.0 port.

Robust Industrial Design

Designed for harsh industrial environments, the system operates in a temperature range from -25°C to 50°C. The fanless structure ensures reliability and silent operation. The device features dual DC power input (9V-36V) with OVP, UVP, OCP protection and surge protection up to 80V.

Versatile I/O Functionality

I/O capabilities include configurable digital interfaces with 8DI/8DO with 3KV sink/source isolation in 8DIO versions. The system supports expansion through multiple M.2 slots, including an M.2 2280 Key M socket with PCIe Gen4x4 for high-performance storage.

Security and Management

Security is ensured by integrated TPM 2.0, while management features include WDT and Intel® In-Band Manageability. The system supports Windows 11 and Linux, offering maximum flexibility in software solution implementation.
