VORTEX

The VORTEX is a rugged 7-inch vehicle computer designed for industrial and vehicular applications that require maximum reliability in extreme conditions. Certified according to military standards MIL-STD-810H and equipped with IP65 protection, it represents an ideal solution for vehicular and industrial automation.

Advanced Performance

The system is equipped with Intel Core i5-1335UE processor with frequencies up to 4.5GHz or, alternatively, Intel Atom x7211E up to 3.20GHz. The DDR5 SDRAM memory can be expanded up to 16GB, while the M.2 2242 SSD storage supports capacities up to 256GB. The system integrates 6-axis IMU sensors (accelerometer + gyroscope) and dual speakers for advanced multimedia functions.

Display and Interface

The 7-inch TFT LCD display offers WSVGA resolution (1024 x 600) with 500 nit brightness and auto-dimming support. The capacitive touch screen ensures an intuitive user interface, completed by 5 programmable buttons, a Display On/Off key and two volume adjustment controls.

Versatile Connectivity

VORTEX offers complete connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be), Bluetooth 5.4, GNSS support with optional dead-reckoning or RTK. Interfaces include multiple RS-232/485 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, USB Type-C, USB 2.0, Micro SD and SIM slots (with integrated eSIM). The device also supports optional 4G LTE/HSPA+/5G connectivity and satellite communication.

Industrial Ruggedness

Designed to withstand extreme environmental conditions, VORTEX operates in a temperature range from -30°C to 60°C (Atom version) or from -30°C to 55°C (Core i5 version). MIL-STD-810H certification guarantees resistance to shocks and vibrations, while IP65 protection ensures waterproofing against dust and water.

Power Management

The system supports a wide range of input voltages from 9 to 60VDC, with vehicle power protection (ISO7637-2) and ignition sensor with on/off delay. The internal battery ensures controlled shutdown in case of power interruption.
