The iBOX-N97 R2 is an innovative fanless mini PC that combines high performance and versatility in a compact design. Equipped with the Intel® Alder Lake-N SoC N97 processor, this embedded system delivers superior processing power for industrial and commercial applications.

Advanced Performance

The heart of the system is the Intel® Alder Lake-N N97 processor, a quad-core with maximum frequency up to 3.6GHz and 12W TDP. Memory is managed by a single channel DDR4 3200 MHz with support up to 32GB through a 260-pin SO-DIMM slot, ensuring high multitasking performance.

Versatile Connectivity

The iBOX-N97 R2 excels in connectivity with 6 USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, including two Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4a support. The dual Realtek 2.5 Gigabit network interface ensures fast and reliable communications. The system supports triple display through 2 HDMI 2.0b ports and 2 DisplayPort 1.4a via USB Type-C, with maximum resolution of 4K@60Hz.

Expandable Storage

Storage options include an M.2 Key M slot (2242/2260/2280) with PCIe Gen3 x1 and SATA3 support, plus a SATA3 6.0 Gb/s interface. There’s also an M.2 Key E slot for wireless modules.

Industrial Design

The aluminum chassis measures 135 x 110 x 44.5mm, weighing only 0.7kg. The system operates in a temperature range from -20°C to 50°C with adequate airflow, making it ideal for industrial environments. Mounting is flexible with VESA, wall, or DIN rail options.

Security and Reliability

It integrates a TPM 2.0 chip for hardware security and supports AT/ATX power modes with 9V-19V DC input. The Watchdog Timer ensures automatic recovery from system freezes.

Audio Interfaces

Audio is managed by the Realtek ALC256 HD Audio controller, with a combo jack for headphones and microphone. A COM port (RS-232/422/485) completes the I/O provision for specific industrial applications.
