The iEP-5010G Series industrial IoT controller represents a cutting-edge solution for advanced industrial applications, combining processing power and robustness in a fanless design.

System Core

Equipped with the Intel® Atom® x6000RE processor (Elkhart Lake), available in x6425RE (4 cores, 1.9GHz, 12W) and x6214RE (2 cores, 1.4GHz, 6W) variants, it ensures excellent performance for industrial IoT applications. The DDR4 3200MHz SO-DIMM memory, expandable up to 32GB with In-Band ECC support, ensures fast and reliable data processing.

Advanced Connectivity

Network connectivity is provided by multiple Ethernet ports: 2 Intel® I210-IT ports, 1 Intel® I226-IT port with TSN support, plus additional ports in PoE and 5LAN versions. The PoE version offers 2 ports with IEEE 802.3AF support and maximum power of 15.4W per port. Serial interfaces include 3 RS-232/422/485 ports, while USB connectivity is provided by 2 USB 3.2 Gen1x1 ports and 2 USB 2.0 ports.

Expandability and Storage

Storage is managed through a Micro SD slot, a 2.5″ SATA3 SSD drive (Basic version only), and an M.2 2280 Key M slot. Expandability is ensured by additional M.2 slots for Wi-Fi 6E, 4G LTE, or 5G modules, offering maximum flexibility in wireless communications.

Industrial Robustness

Designed for harsh industrial environments, it operates in a temperature range from -40°C to 70°C (Basic/5LAN version) or up to 50°C (PoE version). Overvoltage protection includes OVP, UVP, OCP, and surge protection up to 80V. The system is certified to withstand vibrations (5 Grms) and shock (100G).

Management and Security

It integrates advanced management features such as WDT and Intel® In-Band Manageability, plus the TPM 2.0 security module. Support for Intel® TCC and TSN ensures real-time computing capabilities, essential for critical industrial applications.
